In a busy preparation and full of expectations, BCOS finally ushered in the annual film festival! The poster of the film was put up a week before the release, and the well-crafted film finally reached the screen.
First up was Raven’s film, a heartwarming story about a girl who helps another blind girl realize her dreams. Followed by Blue Jay’s Tape Rewind, the film told the story of a girl who is redeemed by her future self. The picture of the film is more of a Japanese style, and this is also reflected in the music. The painting style is beautiful, the editing is smooth, the ending echoes the beginning, and there is a feeling of suspense. The overall choice of clothing Dao is careful, and as an original screenplay, the scriptwriter is novel. Chickdee’s next character is also hilarious.
Finally comes the much-anticipated Look Away, an adaptation of the horror film Man in the Mirror. It tells the story of a cowardly girl who is bullied and switches bodies with another personality in the mirror, when the evil personality completes her revenge, but she can no longer find the person she once was. Christina’s performance in the film is very amazing, and the transformation of the two personalities is also very smooth, and the contrast between the roles is well grasped. The overall film score and plot were gripping, and daisy’s editing was meticulous.
Killer Whale’s Three Idiots in Bollywood recreates the classic scene of explaining what a machine is. Lynx filmed the only vlog that recounted the experience of the Grand Final of the Astan Business Race.
Moon Jellyfish has remade a classic, the Titanic. In the film, instead of the traditional male actors playing male and female actors playing female, the way of gender conversion is adopted, and the heroine Rose is played by a boy. Their interaction is also hilarious.
Otter tells us the dangers of procrastination through a short story, while Beluga warns us not to judge a book by its cover and refuse to be bullied in school.
The movies ended and everyone started to leave. The film festival ended with applause. These movies, each of them condensed the strength of everyone’s unity, but also let everyone appreciate the hard work of making a movie. Let’s hope next year’s film festival will be even better!
