In late September, the deep autumn of Zhejiang gently ushers in a gradual decline in temperature as time moves forward. However, the enthusiasm of BCOS students has continued to rise because of the arrival of the Three-on-Three basketball games. The event was organized and planned by the Active Living students, who did an excellent job of keeping the basketball game in order, making every player and spectator immersed in the charm of sports and the exciting atmosphere of the game.
Before the competition, experienced players started face-to-face practice early. Those girls who still needed to improve their basketball skills were unwilling to be outdone and put themselves into hard training. In the weeks leading up to the competition, athletes could be seen sweating in the gym at noon every day. Every athlete practices for the team, fights for the team, and strives to win honors for the team.
In fact, many of the participants had no prior experience in basketball, especially the girls. However, these players showed no fear when facing basketball experts. Even knowing they might lose, they never felt discouraged or disheartened. Those usually gentle and shy girls showcased a vibrant, outgoing side as they shot hoops and ran on the court.
The boys, on the other hand, were accustomed to gathering every noon at the gym or basketball court to relax through sports and strengthen their bodies. For them, this competition was a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the results of their training. All the students trained hard before the game, eager to perform well. During the match, the players gave their all on both offense and defense, hoping to secure a victory for their team.
With the referee’s whistle, the intense basketball game began. After fierce competition, the first place in the boys’ category was claimed by the Wolves, while the Fish took the first place for the girls. Through their sweat and effort, they wrote their own glorious chapter and brought the basketball tournament to a successful conclusion.
