In the big family of Jiaxing BCOS, Charles is excellent in character and learning; he loves sports, and is willing to help others. Let’s get to know more about Charles through an interview.

Q: During the early one-year study life in Jiaxing BCOS, do you have any feelings that you want to share? Can you give some advice for the newcomers?

A: First of all, I am really happy to study here, and it is a huge difference to the education we’ve taken in primary school and middle school. The teachers encourage us to think and explore by ourselves more, and we can have a deeper understanding of what we are really learning. We have group work a lot that needs team work between classmates and it helped me to know more friends in class. As for advice, my suggestion is that new students should have the ability of self-control and have courage to answer and ask questions in class.

Q: You mentioned teamwork, can you introduce the “Charles’ little class” which is popular and spreading among students?

A: Actually the “class” is to help review topics in the social studies class. Social studies is a subject that needs to be arranged and memorized. At first, I just talked about socials with several classmates before the test, and then more and more people come to discuss and listen. Then they called the discussion this name. Actually, I benefit a lot from the “class” as well.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I love playing football, and I joined the main school team as well as the BCOS team. It is a good way to relax myself, and I also got to know a lot of friends.

Q: Do you have any great ways to balance study and entertainment?

A: I always go to do sports after study because I need to relax. I think we should put study first, but at the same time, we should also relax ourselves in a proper way.
