We are rear waves. In this sport meeting athletes showed off their abundant vitality.
We began with the march-in ceremony. The brain of the BCOS, Mr. Wu convened all the BC students to form a large square array. Although we were wearing red hoodies with printed Canadian maple leaf, we still felt that we were representing China for the games. Inspired by the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning, which amazed the public in the military parade in the South China Sea on April 21, 2018, our core team worked with Mr. Wu to form our square as a tribute. The board-made miniature carrier Liaoning was held by students in the center, while students in the periphery held the paper-made island that has not been officially claimed; it symbolizes “the rise of a prosperous China”. We young people will remain true to the great aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, and grasp the baton handed to us by our forefathers.
“Heaven moves, the gentleman to unremitting self-improvement.” A person living in the world is to constantly break through their own, beyond their own. In sports, Nemo was a blank of slate, with muscle strength to the wind, endurance to the wind, heart and lung breathing to the wind. Our class 400 meters short of people, cannot recruit people can only abstain. Abstaining is equal to throwing in the towel, so what’s the point of doing this project? “go against the tiger when you know there is a tiger on the mountain.” Although his ability is simply not comparable to those athletes, but he was still willing to take to the track, he knew his odds of taking the top spot were almost zero, but he tried his best to win as well. “Take your places ~ run!” He concentrated for a moment, kicked off with his back foot and rushed out as fast as he could, but his opponents refused to give him the lead. He was close to exhaustion, his speed slowed down, the students in front of him were getting farther and farther away, already struggling “Come on! Fight! “After running it, you’ve beyond yourself.” Students cheered and shouted for him. He used the last of his strength to cross the finish line. From spectator to participant, victory or defeat is only like wind and rain. Our youth may only be like passing through, to be self-empowered.
The badminton competition was also intense and exciting, and Kevin, our class ace player, overtook his opponents. He was in his blue tracksuit, wearing wrist guards and holding a badminton racket, and his handsome face made his presence. The referee gave the order to start the match. Both Kevin and his opponent served a high birdie to make the first move. Kevin served and was blocked by the opponent. Kevin leaped high and snapped hard, the birdie fell heavily in the opponent’s area and took another point. After he used various behind-the-back catches, high hanging balls, and buckets to show his perfect skills and overpowering power, his opponent was unable to fight back. Kevin won with an overwhelming advantage of 5:15 without any doubt.
Take advantage of the youth to show yourself is our faith. We need to keep physical health, temper the will, cultivate our mind, explore our talents to leave no regrets in this flourishing stage.
