In the twinkling of an eye, the new semester has entered its third week. The students have gradually woken up, full of spirit, from the relaxation of the holiday to meet the challenges of the new semester.

The grade 10 students have adapted to high school life after their experiences last semester, showing a better learning attitude than before, and delving more seriously into their learning. In class, they answered questions more actively. In Mr. Lee’s Composition class, many students were eager to raise their hands. The teacher was very pleased with their progress. There are also more students pursuing excellence in homework, willing to seek advice from teachers. At noon, one can often see a lot of students in the computer room working on their homework. Many grade 10 students also said that they carefully reflected on the shortcomings of last semester during their winter vacation. This semester they strive to make corrections to their behaviour with open minds and a focus on their studies.

During the winter break, many grade 11 students took the IELTS test and many of them achieved excellent results. All the students are bearing the fruit of their hard work from last semester. This semester, they are divided into classes, which is a new challenge for them. At the beginning, some students felt a little uncomfortable with the more intense learning atmosphere. But soon, as their learning will be on the right track, they will bravely face the difficulties in learning by flexibly adjusting their learning methods. We believe that they will soon overcome these difficulty as they develop more efficient learning methods to absorb more knowledge in the new semester!

Last semester, a lot of grade 12 students had received admission letters from their favorite universities, which was a huge relief to them. There are a few months left for them to stay in the big BCOS family, and their excellent results are a product of their efforts over the past three years. Many students are very pleased with their growth and progress over their time in BCOS. Although only a few months are left, the grade 12 students are faced with even more complex knowledge, so they need to continue to work harder. We hope they will make their last days at BCOS wonderful and make every day meaningful in the remaining months.

This new semester the students are carrying different dreams on the road towards their future. The new semester is a new beginning, and we hope we can learn from the shortcomings of the last semester. In the new semester, every student can blossom brilliantly, ever brighter.
